This collection of watercolor portraits (with the exception of “Betty”) were created as a group entitled Creeps. I utilized characters from television and movies, placing them in haloed backgrounds. The reverence American culture has with these figures can mimic religious rituals. People quote these figures, much like reciting scripture.
